NS Strong Fundraiser

Thank you so much to everyone who supported our fundraiser for the Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund by purchasing our Nova Scotia Strong clothing.  Because of you we were able to donate an amazing $96,000 to the fund to support the families and communities affected by the horrible mass shooting that happened in our home province of Nova Scotia in April 2020.

A message from the founder of Countryfied Clothing, Karen Dean:

I lost a dear friend on April 19, 2020 in a senseless act of violence that I don't think any of us will ever understand. Gina Goulet was a fierce, independent woman who was such a bright light in this world. Like many other people (everyone loved Gina), I miss her so much!

Joey Webber lived in my community.  I didn’t know him personally but, growing up, his partner lived 4 doors down from me.

Lisa McCully's mother used to be the minister at my church, and her brother went to university with my twin brother.

I used to work for the RCMP as a Detachment Assistant and have many wonderful friends who are members. They all knew and loved Cst. Heidi Stevenson.

Nova Scotia is full of stories like this. We are all connected somehow. That is part of what makes this such a special place to live. And I know that we are all hurting right now. Through our fundraising efforts, we were able to contribute an incredible $96,000 to help the families affected by this tragedy.

These shirts will continue to be for sale for a limited time as a way of promoting this wonderful province that I call home.
